Due to our trip to France from December 17, 2009 to December 27, 2009, I set-up our dog Maverick to be boarded at our regular vet at Homewood Animal Hospital for the duration of the trip. On Thursday December 17, 2009, upon landing in Detroit, I received a voice mail from our vet stating that Maverick has an ear infection that needed treatment and also some antibiotics/steroids for the new growth he developed on his paw, between his toes. I okayed treatment over the phone and told them to give him whatever was necessary.
On December 28, 2009, Ken called Homewood Animal Hospital to see what time would Maverick be ready for pick-up. They informed him that the total bill for boarding and medical treatment was $560. It was understood between Ken and I prior to our trip that he would pick-up the vet bill since I was paying for the trip, including approximately $1,500 for car rental in France that was charged on Chase Credit Card.
Because of the monet he spent in France ($200 for coats/hat and cash withdrawal of 160 euros) he informed me that since he had to pay for January mortgage, he could not afford paying for Maverick.
On that same day, Chris from Homewood Animal Hospital called me at 11:38am and I paid Maverick's bill over the phone for the total amount due of $560 by charging it to my Chase Credit Card.

On December 3, 2009, after an heated argument over life insurance policies, mortgage papers, passports, birth certificates and miscellaneous other sensitives documents, Ken threatened to keep all of the important paperwork in his possession and is concerned about him still being the beneficiary of my $250,000 life insurance policy with State Farm. He even went to the State Farm office to verify that I did not remove him and found that during that visit that I had a PO Box.
After coming back from a counseling appointment with Dee Collins, I noticed that he opened and went through the safe box inside my drawer containing the passports, birth certificates, Chrysler title, and other important small papers. As far as I could tell, nothing was removed but I could not find the life insurance policies and copies of the wills that were under that same box.

On December 3, 2009 at 11:11a I received an email from Kathy at Cardinal "Can you call me? I just got a phone call from Ken". I called her immediately and she informed me that Ken asked her to talk to me as a friend, that I was made the biggest mistake of my life. She told me that she could not get involved with it and she hang up.

On 12/03/09 Ken called me to tell me that he verified that I had rental insurance through State Farm - he called our agent. I immediately called them and talked to Debbie and asked her not to give any information to Ken about my account (Life, Auto and Rental). She told me that Ken called to try to get information from them but that other than confirming that my rental insurance policy was underwritting, she did not and could not give him any information, including the property address. She told me that she could not be in the middle of our situation since she did not know what was going on.
Chase Leisure Rewards
On December 2, 2009, I logged-in on chase.com and checks the rewards points associated with the Chase Joint Checking Account - 51,440 points were available. I requested (4) $25 Target Gift Cards and (1) $5 Panera Bread Gift Card to be mailed to my PO Box, leaving less than 2,000 points on the account.

Removed the 2009 Toyota auto insurance and the Life Insurance for myself off the automatic withdrawal from our Chase Joint Account which will result to the loss of the multi-vehicles discount (additional $8/month for the 1997 Chrysler and $12/month for the 2009 Camry). Took a rental insurance policy for the Ashland home with $50,000 personal property, $300K liability and $500 deductible, effective 12/24/09 for $106/year (8.83/month). Debbie is to fax over the paperwork so I can return with a voided check to authorized withdrawal from my personal Chase Account.

Lease
On Friday November 27, 2009 I signed a one-year and one-week lease for the property at 18248 Ashland starting on December 25, 2009 and ending on December 31, 2010. This is a 3-bedroom, 1 full bath, 2 half-baths home without a garage. Paid to the landlord with 3 separate cashier's checks from TCF Bank Checking Account was one month security deposit of $1,400, January 2010 rent of $1,400 and one week rent from Dec 25-Dec 31, 2009 for $350.

Moving Plans
On Saturday November 21, 2009, I informed Ken of my intentions of moving out of our home when we return from our trip to France (Dec 17-Dec 27, 2009). He does not agree with my decision. A second discussion about my moving plans took place in presence of our counselor Dee Collins and her husband Byron Collins in her office in South Holland on Monday November 23, 2009. I informed Ken that I wish to remain friends with him and that my main concern is the smooth transition for the children's sake. The children were also informed on our separation on Sunday November 22, 2009.

I left Walts and drove eastbound on 183rd street, Ken pulled up right next to me in his Orkin truck approaching Dixie Highway and blew the horn about 15 times trying to get my attention. He cut me off and got in front of me so I turned right on a side street to get home.
He opened my door as I parked in the garage and starting yelling at me for not answering his phone calls. I got off the car, went to the truck to get the 2 bags of groceries and he physically blocked my way back to the house, demanding answers once again. I asked him to move about 4 times but he refused. I had my phone on my hand and it's only when I threatened him to call the police that he moved and let me in the house.

After another argument on Sunday night, Ken woke up upset at me, he started questioning my feelings about other people, the reason why I was still accepting text messages and responding to them, especially from "men". This was brought up due to my Blackberry beeping at any given time - calendar reminders, work e-mail address, personal e-mail address and text messages. Each one of them has a different ring tone but Ken is assuming that they are all text messages from "men".
While I was in the shower, he came once again in the bathroom and wanted some answers from me. Even though I told me that I didn't want to talk about it and asked him to leave, he refused. Within 2 minutes, he snatched the shower curtain open and started to touch my breasts and vagina areas and telling me that "I belonged to him" and that "He could have me sexually whenever he wanted to". He was staring at me with so much hate in his eyes and looked at my vagina area and questioned why I kept it shaved/trimmed even though him and I don't have sex anymore and accused me to have sex with other men because of it. I tried closing the shower curtain but he kept me from doing so. Since I was in the shower, soapy and wet, I did not want to risk falling or getting hurt. He was very aggressive towards me and at that point, I became afraid that he would physically hit me so I stopped talking to him all together. I hurried up out of the shower and put my robe on. He left the house. It was about 7:15a.

Ken got up and left the house at 7:30m and returned at 2:30p - he told me that he had a side job on Sunday but I was not informed where it was and how long it will take. No phone calls or text messages were made between him, the house and I during the time he was gone.
While organizing my closet, washing clothes and cleaning up the house while he was gone, I noticed that he went through my black and white bag that I take to work everyday, my brown purse and also my drawer where I have all of my underwear. It was obvious that he took the opportunity while I was in Baltimore overnight to go through everything.
When I confronted him about it on Sunday night, he denied it until I asked him to swear on his life, then he admitted that he opened my black and white bag.

At 8:05am I received a text message from him "Tell my kids that dad love them", I did not respond. At 8:11am he called me for 4:40 and told me that he was in front of the lake about to drive in and asked me if I had anything to say, when I told me that I didn't, he questioned the fact that I did not tell him not to do it. She informed me that Ken was blowing up her phone and John's (about messing up and going through my purse) and that he was waiting for her in front of her office in South Holland in need of an emergency counseling session. I went to bed early because I was tired, around 9:30p and Daphnee was laying with me in my bed. A few minutes after I was asleep, Ken came in the room, flipped the light on and starting yelling at me and throwing a paper in my face, asking me what this was all about. The paper in question was the copy of an email that was sent about one year ago to a friend of mine (edited of course to remove email addresses, addressee and closing statements that would identify who the recipient was). I had the copy of this email in order to show our counselor Dee Collins that my feelings about the relationship were the same a year before. This paper was in my purse which was zipped by the front door, where I usually leave it.
When I asked Ken why he went through my purse again, he told me that he wanted to put a letter in my purse and just happened to see the paper and decided to read it. I know for a fact that this paper was in the middle of other papers, at the bottom of my purse and that he had to remove my wallet and 2 check books in order to get to it.

I informed Ken on the weekend of October 24-25, 2009 that I was taking another overnight trip to a spa/resort in Baltimore, Maryland. Left Chicago Friday 11/6 at 9:20a - MDW to BWI SW 1236 and returned to Chicago Saturday 11/07 at 3:50pm - BWI to MDW SW 2518. I stayed at the Turf Valley Resort in Ellicott City, Maryland, Room 518 Junior Suite. I purchased the plane ticket, the room and rental car through Enterprise was charged on Bank of America credit card. I also took $200 cash from my TCF Bank account.
Even though Ken did not call me or text me during my stay in Baltimore, I had to call the home a few times and received several calls from the children, especially Daphnee who was not feeling well. For the past 4-5 years, I've had online access to the Verizon Family Plan. This allows me to view phone calls and text messages placed on all lines, at this time Ken, Audrey, Kenneth Jr and Julius. I also asked Ken to sign the paperwork to remove him from the Chase Credit Card which he did in hope of obtaining the Verizon online ID and password.

On Saturday September 12, 2009, I removed the 2nd keyless key for the Camry from Ken's key chain. His keys were on the kitchen island.

I received my new card the week of September 7, 2009. As of today Ken still doesn't know that his card is canceled and that he is no longer an authorized user.

I received the paperwork on September 11, 2009 to remove Ken from the account, filled it out, signed it on September 12th, 2009 and asked him to sign it. He refused. As of today, his name is still on the account but he does not have a credit nor access to one.

Ken called me at 9:45am this morning and I informed him that he needed to pick Daphnee up from daycare because I wouldn't be coming straight home. He refused. He has not been back on time to get Daphnee before 6pm this week or last week.
Note - I have a 6:30p appointment with Dee, our counselor, for a Power Conference at her office in South Holland.

Had to remove porn from the family computer this morning after Ken left 10 Internet Explorer windows minimized but not closed from Blackbook.com - a porn and dating website.
He was in the basement for over one hour the night before, where the computer is. I figured he was looking at porn so I went in an checked in the morning to make sure that he didn't leave anything open, which he did, because it's the computer that the children use. If I didn't close everything, my 13 yo and 10 yo sons could have seen it when they came back from school.

The last payment on that account was made in March 2006 and no activity since. Both cards, one in my name and one in Ken's name were at home, with both stickers on it, not activated.
This credit card was originally in my name only but later on, I added Ken as a joint account holder. Because of this, Chase is unable to remove him without his authorization. They will send paperwork at home and we both need to sign in order to remove him from the account. As of today, the card in his name is shred and mine is to be placed in a secure safe deposit box.
Another possibility is to cancel this joint account and open a new one in my name only.

Part of my birthday present was a overnight trip to a spa/resort and I chose to go to Baltimore, Maryland. Left Chicago Friday 8/28 at 1:30p - MDW to BWI SW 1999 and returned to Chicago Saturday 8/29 at 5:25pm - BWI to MDW SW 1845. I stayed at the Turf Valley Resort in Ellicott City, Maryland, Room 528 Junior Suite. I purchased the place ticket via TCF Bank and the room and rental car through Enterprise was charged on Bank of America credit card. Ken gave me $100 cash out of the savings account and $50 cash out of his pocket to enjoy the trip.

Ken was gone from 5:30p to 9p after I told him that I needed to get some fresh air. He took the van and left me at home with the kids. When he came back, I left in the car after a long and heated argument in the garage and the driveway. I had to threaten him with going to the police station for him to let me go. I left at 9:30p and came back at 11p. I went to Target and McDonalds for a sundae while driving around.

My birthday....
Ken got upset Saturday night and not really sure why. He got up early and went to church for the 8am service. The four children and I went to Mimi's Cafe to have some breakfast at 9am. I texted him at 9:30a to tell him where we were and that he could meet us there since I had a reservation for 6 on the patio. He texted back around 10:15a while we went walking out of the restaurant and we decided to meet at home. Once at home, we went into the minivan and drove to 57th and Harlem to pick up a birthday cake at Oak Mill Bakery. Ken was driving on the way there and on the way back, I was sitting in the front passenger seat. I was receiving text messages from friends and alerts emails from Facebook from people wishing me a happy birthday. Ken started complaining that I was on my blackberry too often so I told him that it was my birthday. He also mentioned that Dee (our counselor) told him to be quiet today and to let me enjoy my birthday. Got home, changed vehicle, I was driving the Camry to Naperville after dropping off Audrey at Walmart. While driving to Naperville, I got a few text messages that I chose not to check or answers to not start arguments. The dirty looks kept going all through dinner and on the way home Ken started to explode and raising his voice. Driving on I-80 about 1 mile from Harlem Ave exit, I asked him to get off so I could go to Target to get something. He accused me of setting a meeting with someone instead at Target. I told him that there were no such plan. He parked the car, despite 2 of the children sleeping in the back seat and got off the car to come with me in the store "to see what I was up to". I walked behind him, children in tow and Ken was looking at every black man in the store to see if I was making any kind of contact with them. One man was at the checkout line with a woman and happened to look at me walking by. Ken accused me of knowing him. Of course I had no idea who this man was. I was afraid that Ken would go up to him and could have started a fight, so I concentrated on picking up the jelly belly jelly beans with the children and did not respond to his accusations. All through home and for the following hour until I fell asleep, he accused me, harassed me and continued to question me despite the fact that I denied all of his accusations. I then decided to go to Caribou to grab an iced green jasmine tea and he insisted that I take Daphnee with me - I assume to make sure that I wasn't meeting anyone or talking to anyone. Both Daphnee and Julius ended up going with me anyway. On my return, I suggested a trip to 63rd street beach since it was sunset. We drove there and even though I was getting some alerts from my phone, I choose not to check it. The walk on the beach started well until he brought up all the issues again. The arguments carried on to the way back home and until the children were in bed. Then it really got heated and at one point he came quickly towards me from the basement door to the couch while screaming and came really close to me face. I was afraid that he was going to become physical. At that time, I asked him to leave the home soon. I told him that he needed to move out. He refused stating that it was his home and that he did not have anywhere to go.
